Here's a few pics from today that Adz hasn't chucked up.
Headed out until we found something
Drop, lift, on!
Nice greyband cod
Next drop was Ad'z turn
Go the Ruby's
Next drop for me, hit on the drop just off the bottom, good fish!
Not.
One more drop, just to nail a ruby.
Home early, not a bad day at all. Cheers Adz.

If I spent half as long fishing , as I do reading this bloody forum , I'd be twice the fisherman I am.

the rod is a Jigging Master
the rod is a Jigging Master Three Kings medium overhead and the jig is a R2S zero dropper picked because it had a lumo side. Awesome rod and worth every dollar.

the only grey coat problem we
the only grey coat problem we had was when one hit my jig just on the bottom and what I thought was going to be a 20kg ruby turned into a 6' shark. Otherwise we didn't lose a fish, but we also only had 5 single drops and were probably only there for a hour.

Sounder Pic
A question for those that know more than I with respect to interpreting sounder pics. The pic above shows the depth as 250m in the bottom left corner. Is this right? Looking at the RHS screen I would say the bottom is more at 258m and everthing above that is fish?

definitely not fish, the gain
definitely not fish, the gain is down pretty low so the "holes" in the bottom might be a difference in bottom composition, but there was also a small drop off nearby that the sounder cone might have been just kissing the edge of. Not really sure, we need to spend a bit more time out there but it isn't fish.

So the bottom lock
screen on the LHS is not fish?

the bottom lock is showing
the bottom lock is showing fish, we mainly used the right hand side to look for the drop off and the bottom lock side to see the fish. The fish didn't always show on the R/H side but did on the left. Need to spend a bit more time mucking around, we were more interested in catching the fish than playing, plus the weather wasn't all that great.

Tks for the feedback Tim
One more question if I may. So when you see vertical lines like you see in the pic in the bottom lock screen will that always be fish?
