Derby day delights (pic heavy)
Submitted by sea-kem on Sun, 2015-08-23 09:30
A few pics from the recent Gnaraloo adventure, the first few are from derby day we had fished, killed it then listened to the derby on the way in and while we filleted with a few beers. Made for an awesome day. The rest of the pics are just random shots through the trip. We fished for 6 days solid and bagged out. Had a trolling day last Wednesday and nailed a double hit of big Yellow fin Tuna also Spaniards and Mack Tuna. A great way to spend the arvo with a few beers.
Can't wait to get up there next year with my boys.

There was a 28ft Cat came in
There was a 28ft Cat came in the last night we were there Roddo, a mate of a mate's boat. It was on a tri axle and I reckon all of 4 ton of boat the thing was huge. I chatted to the owner and he launches and retrieves no probs at all according to him. Most the boats up there were 6-7m jobs.

4th last pic looks deep drop with a pearlie and I think gray bands (not sure though). Correct? and how deep mate up there. Thought the deep stuff was miles offshore, but never fished there. Only up the road and down the road.
