Detailing and trailer repairs

Anyone got recommendations for detailing an 6.7m relatively new aluminium boat. Just bought it from interstate and appears not looked after very well. Needs a refresh.
Also electric hydraulic brakes not working. Recommendations for this?

Thanks for all suggestions

Re the brakes

Not much to go on, maybe battery needs a charge or replacement.  Maybe give some more details on what's not working plus brand, and brake controller used?

Sorry, Bar Crusher Easy Tow Trailer - plug looks good and electricity getting to it, however no activation of electric trailer brakes. Using a new Tekonsha P3 controller.

Detailing for boat - boat stored in Freo. Looks like previous owner didn't wash boat regularly plus lots of dog hair in cabin carpet.

Some/most electric brakes

Some/most electric brakes need a hot wire going to them this is usually run through the reverse light pin in your plug just run it off your battery using a circuit breaker. If the car already has this it may have some corroded wireing on the trailer. Check the small battery on the trailer and the wiring that goes to it.

pull the breakaway switch

pull the breakaway switch first and see if system runs.
If it does then work backwards from there.
If it doesnt check breakaway battery and/or provide 12 volts to the breakaw3ay battery circuit.
This eliminates everything between the hyd unit and anything on the car itself.
After that it gets a bit more technical

Thanks guys. Battery good. Wiring looks good and brake pedal activates pump but pump doesn't work when I pull the breakaway pin out. Someone looking at it today. Will give the reason in next day or two.
