Yep, excellent tool the drop down camera. I bought a cheap 12v screen from ebay so I could view the footage straight away

Was around 25m deep - GoPro I just tied onto a rig on my rod used a sinker tied from the bottom of it with light line and a float just above it to keep the line nice and tight with heavy line from GoPro back to reel. Dropped it down and used it like I was bottom fishing.

Sinker pulling down and float pulling up keeps it looking out nice and flat stabilises it a bit instead of looking straight down when line slacks as sinker touches bottom and with light line to sinker so if It gets snagged hopefully I only lose the sinker...

Filming in 60fps or higher helps as well as you can slow motion it later to help with any spinning / fast movement.

Actually caught a dhu smashing the sinker as if it was a jig last time I tried it - lucky it didn't nail the GoPro!

Cheers
