Whats showing at the 40m mark. Dhues and black arse venturing off the bottom? Can't remember the last time I saw fisheries leave the boat ramp. Good to see their getting out and about. I was however expecting some pics from 480m not 48m from you given the forecast this week! 

 That was the plan but the wind was up a little bit to much! 

 Was a struggle to drift in 60m even with sea anchor so 600 was out of the question! That spot in the 40 we anchored on as even that was a bit hard to drift over.

Did fisheries make a comment with the fish you had along side, and that's a great sounder picture thanks for posting.

 Lucky the arseclown wasn't on duty. You may have ended up in court. 

 Nah he just watched me release 2, he didn't even come on the boat just made me hold up the fish I had on deck and the 2 black ass then had to yell my fishing license number to him! It only got interesting when I told him the number on the side of my boat was a m+h number. He started banging on about recreational exemption. So I held the exemption up and started yelling the details across to him and said it only applied to vessels over 12m. I also didn't need to notify transport as it wasn't a commercial fishing vessel.he said it wasnt his department. And continued on his merry way inspecting other vessels. I had to laugh when he asked what my plans were for the rest of the day, I replied if the weather drops I'll head out deep. His reply was that I was already fishing the deep :/

 where were you Bryce?  Out of busso or bunno?  They visited me out in 38 mtrs last week. They had come from geographe made the comment we were a long way from bunno told them like you that once the wind dropped we were of out deep as well.
