Dhufish on plastics?

G'day, can anyone give me some info on the best plastics to use for dhus. I have some good spots that we fish with bait successfully but Im looking at trying plastics and dont know what are good ones to use. Any info helpful, cheers.

Those big mccarthy's def work , but jeebus , they're expensive fishing when they get destroyed in one hit. Can you superglue them??
Last trip out , I was using some of the smaller 7 inch bullhead minnows on 1 oz jig heads in 40 meters. (drift wasn't too bad)
They got smashed. Very effective
If I spent half as long fishing , as I do reading this bloody forum , I'd be twice the fisherman I am.

Hot knife does a good job of
Hot knife does a good job of fixing them...Heat a knife with a flame and use it to melt the plastic then glue it two melted sections together....Works for me :)

as everyone has said, Mccarthy 7inch or 8inch bullheads in Pearl, Hot Orange, and Chartreuse. the 11 inch Mambas are also dhuie candy. pretty keen to try the Chrystella colour in the mambas!

there is one plastic that will fish better than mcarthy (well atleast it has over the last 5 trips out) and that is the new berkley rippleshad 16 cm pearl white. they retail for $7.99 and you get 3 in a packet come in a huge range of colours and as i said they have blown all us boys away with the catch rate lately .... dhuies simply cant resist them.

McArthy red mullet is a real
McArthy red mullet is a real stand out down south. The big mambas are great when your on to a good school of dhuies, they seem to attracted the bigger fish in the school.
