That's Awsome Paul. Did you see the fish on the sounder first and then dive on them or just happen to run into them in the water?

They were on an edge we had dived on before .Just a little further on.We didnt drop a line and only shot one,.too intrested in the trout. If they are there next time I will drop a plastic without a hook and film them, would be great to see them hitting it underwarter. And a catch and release with us in the water following back to the bottom and see what effect it has on the school if any.

Crays
Hey Paul awesome video seen em over there before schooling up. I don't know if its still the case but when we lived there you actually aren't allowed to dive for crays at the islands. It's by pots only. Possibly the dumbest rule ever haha seen a few people get stitched up over there so just be careful cause there is usually a heap of fisheries over there this time of year

great vid Paul
silly thing is that I went into the Gero Fisheries office because the brochures were out of date, and asked "can I dive for crays in the Leos and Coral Patches sanctuary zones?" (potting is allowed there)
Answer-"pretty sure you cant".
"Can you please let me know for sure"
"sure Ill find out and ring you but Im pretty sure you cant"-no call forthcoming
Asked a senior FO on the patrol boat when they checked us over there.
"yeah no problem diving for crays in the sanctuary at all".
Never mind, we potted a good swag inside anyhow.

Hey Paul, good Vid
I am sure that the footage on your GoPro would be cracking footage so hope it turns up on the next trip...
Pic / Vids never show it as good as being there..
It was certainly a highlight for me diving with that many Dhuies... Could well turn out to be a dive of a lifetime??Cheers..
I've spent half my life fishing.. The other half I have wasted..
