im sure ive seen on here a few times that when dhueys are 1 metre long they are pretty much right on 20Kg if its a healthy fish so i reckon yours is prob gonna go up to around 25kg great catch chuck up a photo if youve got one
but will have to work on it later today. It needs to be resized and remove exif data (for obvious reasons). I can assure you sea-kem it did happen but I am just shit when it comes to stuffing around with computers. If I manage to put the photo up will you promise not to look at the GPS positions?
...just to add confusion, mine was 102cm. So it's all over the place. Spawning condition, amount/type of diet, etc. To put it another way, are all 6 foot tall blokes the same weight?
I'm the Records Manager for the Ocean Reef Sea Sports Club so have some statistics. The last 3 records for Dhufish are: 107cm length + 85cm girth = 20kg, 110cm length + 91.5cm girth = 24kg and our current record was 110cm length + 89.5cm girth for 24.64kg.
Based on those, Christ only knows what a 120cm one would weigh, but unless it was unusually skinny it would be friggen huge!!!
