it depends on the size of
it depends on the size of your deepcycle battery, and how many amps your evakool draws. but with everything being in reasonable condition it should be no problem to run it over night.
deepcycle batteries like to be used otherwise they lose their charge, but there is only one way to find out plug the fridge in tonight and see how it goes

I agree Rig
Oh, and I still love the pic of the 60cm S-Bends Tailor! Hurry up insurance. I need my 4x4!!!
Deep Cycle batteries are designed specifically for what you are planning to use it for (that is if it is a Deep Cycle and not just a second battery). You can flatten them without damaging them. That reminds me.. I must talk to Colin Ray about his setup LOL

Some more useful info
I have this link as I am going to be the proud owner of a Land Rover TD5. There is some very useful stuff posted and particularly useful info on dual batteries and how they should be set up. I hope this adds to your knowledge base.

Duel
Duel as in 2 is better than 1. Dueling as in "pick your weapon and meet me at dawn"

DUEL BATTERIES
I have dual batteries in my 79 series land cruza and my deep cycle battery will run my engel for roughly 2 days before my 10.5v cutout comes into play. So if your not using a cutout switch then it should run for that and more. I always put my deep cycle on charge before any trip just to make sure it is fully charged wich helps alot and also put gel type freeza blocks in my fridge to help it cool.

DUAL BATTERIES
Troopie i have 2 batteries in my cruiser and when out camping i have one just for my 40 lt engel and i can easy get 3 days out of one battery but it will depend also what temp you set it on and how ofetn you open it.
The engel do have a good low ampere rating so you need to check the current draw of your fridge and then check your battery ie car battery 400 ampere hours and fridge draws 4 amps per hour = 100 hours as a rough guide.
Warning , make sure your other battery does isolate as i found out the first time it hard to push start a 100series cruiser in the dunes
