I have them on my boat trailer and so far been trouble free. No oil leaks at all. Which means , if oil leaks out water can get in. Unlike normal grease filled jobs where you cant see what is happening.
7 years now with a lot of highway use and still going strong tells me something.
I believe that they are well worth the $$$ spent.

I know a few guys that use them and love them. But then theres a few that hate them so not sure. I cant use them because i have Sure-Lube axles.

I think it looks good but what if a seal fails? Bearing will run dry.

thats right, on a long run if a seal pops on a grease filled bearing, no problem.

With oil its gone in a few minutes.

Ideal would be the transparent cover to see the condition of the grease

Super glue

The trick to stop your bearing buddies from falling off is to run a line of super glue round them before fitting them on and don't pump them up as far as they will go, leaving room for expansion as the grease warms up.

A gentle tap with a hammer is all that's needed to remove them for maintenance.
