Always a chance at a trout although much better in sept/oct. There's a few redfin there mostly small but if you put in some effort you may find some decent sized fish
Only seems to be around the mandurah area (south yunderup), affecting mainly black bream. I think the upper murray in the fresh would be safe, I'm giving it a go tomorrow in that area anyway.
There's a stretch of gravel bed in the river between Tony's Bend and Charlies Flat. It's a bit narrower and therefore the water moves more quickly. Always done well here for BIG redfin and a few decent trout occasionally.
