Hi guys.

Decided to go and try out the old drain on Saturday morning after a disappointing effort at jurien last weekend I wasn't expecting much.. Pulled out my new stradic attached it to the penn big game surf rod a chucked out a bait to soak. A few winds of the handle and bang I'm on!! After a little fight my first ever Mullaway hit the shore even if it was just undersize was still a good start. Quickly baited up again a flicked it back out. After about 10 mins or so I was on again this time a good size flattie was on the end. Thinking to myself things come in three my line was quickly back out past the breakers. After about a hour or so bang my line pulled tight and the new stradic started to scream. After some acrobatics and a good fight for 5mins or so I landed my first metro salmon. Was a day of first for me and a much better morning than my whole last weekend up at jurien.
