worms are good bait from bream and whiting plus a whole bunch of other fish (they move without u making them move) ive caught loads of bream on worms plus a 44cm one not far from lanos on a property in middle of nowhere
I have caught some great bream on worms, Only trouble is you do tend you catch a lot or smaller fish as its such a soft apealling bait. I like to float fish along reed beds etc. I used to have a veg patch and dig them up , but i cant seem to get them now. Upper reaches away from the blowies is the key.

Cheers guys, my experience for them hasnt been all that great. I fish canning river and used prawns along side which produce result. Earth worms were not touched. I was using compost worms. May be there are different varieties of worms for fishing? Not sure..

they sound like blowie bait, but if you can keep them away from the blowies I recon you will get bream and whiting no problem.

European and African Night crawlers
Sorry, slightly off topic, but...
Has anyone tried using the European or African Night Crawler worms advertised on Ebay as fishing bait ?
I'm curious because Im getting too lazy nowadays to be shovelling out the swan river for blood worms, on the other hand I dont
want to waste my money on something that may not work.
