Electronic or Digital Charts?????

Just wondering if there are charts avalable in a digital form.
I'm not talking about the navigation cards you load into gps plotters.
I just got an email from a friend with a PDF chart of 5 fahom bank and I'm wondering if there are more like that avalable from anywhere?
