Emergency help---Broome trip

Would you or wouldn't you take a Trailcraft 5.4 to Broome from Karratha in lieu off charters in Broome. Thinking about the fuel and time but I suspect I should take the boat as I have the time.

Original plan was not to take the girl.

Also more space then and can take the Engel with cold beer.

The home engineer suggested why not and I cant disagree.

What do you all think?

The weather in Broome has looked sensational for ages, but I've heard that its a long way to fishing spots.  Unfortunately can't help you with that dilemma, but its a nice one to have mind you. :)

Depends

Depends on how long you are going for. Takes a while to find fish sometimes in an area you havnt fished before. Broome is pretty fished out in close. You can still go for some mudcrabs, Bluenose/threadfin salmon....might be very lucky and get a barra in roey bay.

I lived there for 6 years, and took me a while of picking peoples brains, working out tides, how to use a throw net, where to find bait ect until i got into some good fish. If you do take your boat pm me and ill give you a few tips. good luck
