Engine stalling when cold

Gents
i have a Yamaha 100 four stroke done 330 hours and its just recently started giving me grief it will fire up when cold if a give it a bit of revs but stalls as soon as I put it into ggear if I warm it at 1000 to 1200 rpm for a few minutes it will be fine for the rest of the dday any thoughts on what's causing this
its not due a service till 400 hours

Thermostat maybe?
...if it's stuck open, while take a while for cooling system to "warm up".

Depending on how old the motor is it may use Carbs and not Injectors, if this is the case then there may be some debris in the passages. The carb models have a very complicated choke/idle up system that can present issues as the hours increase, Second the thermostat issue, causes all sorts of havoc, give me a call if you want a hand 0409118903

Did Yamaha make a four stroke 100 that wasnt EFI?
Common problem on the 115 Yam 4S was the TPS, which causes similar symptoms to that mentioned.
