Exmouth 1st time

Thinking about taking the boat up for a week in Nov or Dec but a little worried after reading some of the latest postings.  Couple of questions;  is this a good time of year?  what are some inexpensive options for lodging?  is anyone else interested? Do any local fishos desire to take us under the wing for a free outing?  During Nov/Dec are there any closer options that offer some good fishing?   Also plan on spending some time snorkeling as well.  Cheers, ben

I went up last November and we only got the boat out twice and both days were probably "wouldn't normally go days", we were just running out of time. Still pretty hot fishing if you get the weather.
Any trip to Exmouth's worth going on, if you go for long enough you will get good days.

I went last November. Was windy, so only managed to get the boat out a few times & only able to fish the gulf. Still produced some good size golden trevs, gold spot trevs, queens, macks & mack tuna (light jigging & popping).

Depending what you're after I suppose. But still worth a trip. Be rather hot. Also went in May... better time of the year.

Good call Ben, its not that special up here in Nov.  The fishing is good, but the opportunities are limited.

head up during the fishwrecked competition in May? Should be a great weekend, meet other members, make fun of Adam Gallash while he is trying to be important etc.
