Exmouth Gulf
Submitted by jackpaps on Wed, 2013-05-08 15:43
Hey guys,
Taking a 6.4metre boat up to exmouth on May 18th.
I know how to fish the west side of the cape, eg tantabiddi, was looking at fishing more on the east side this trip and in the gulf.
Never attempted this before so I'm looking for any tips!
Cheers guys

there is a reef well in the gulf with loads of spaniards (i;ve been told they breed there), i think its called north west reef or along those lines, others may know more about it but its meant to be awesome
If the weather is good just head to the Murions.... a big variety of fishing to be done for demersals / pelagics etc

Nor West Reef
This reef is located just off North West Cape. It is good for mackies but a haven for big sharks. BIG sharks!!!

Bundegi ramp
Just be a bit wary if you're planning on using Bundegi ramp as it can be a bit tricky retrieving a boat if the wind and waves pick up.
