Hi guys, stopping over in Exmouth tomorrow for the afternoon/ night before we leave for the montebellos on Sunday morning, just curious if it's worth throwing some lures around for trevally/queenies from the beach/jetty for an couple of hours? If it's not worth it I won't unpack the rods but is there anywhere that I have a chance of something?
cheers

round the west end at the lighthouse
reefy, chance of all sorts. floating poppers the go here.
Further south or north I forget at Lanz access queenies a chance if baitfish are about.
Closer to town, walk to the end of the marina wall and cast at the nav beacon for various trevally / small macks.
Various spots in the cape range national park are worth a look too but that is bit of driving.
Bundegi Beach, walk left towards navy pier. Watch for the reef that comes up to shore, fair walk but not too bad. Check that you are within legal bounds, there is a sign post near the dunes marking where you can fish up to. Big squid, blue bone and small sharks in here amongst other things.
