Exmouth Last Week Sep

Good day guys.
Planning a trip to Exmouth last week of september will be there for about 10 days.
No boat 
but from what i hear and read there is great fishing off the beach.
My question is about the time of year ( what type of fish will be biting ), And what type of tackle shoud i be taking?
I would love to try fishing with poppers and metal slices will i be wasting my time?

Hi Ganged, poppers and metal slices should be just the trick.
Late September can get pretty windy at times, so somedays the weather will dictate where you can fish.
Should get all types of fish from whiting and squid up to Macks and spanglies
