Sand bass im pretty sure. However I have heard a rumour of a couple of sightings of barra in there at the moment.

Sand bass almost certainly
They have a small mouth compared with a Bazza, with its cavernous mouth.
When I first came up to Karratha caught one and got all excited thinking it was my first Pilbara Barra. Reality checked in when I realised it was a sand bass.

I can confirm barra are in exmouth! mate caught one down the bottom of the gulf i seen it with my own eyes

hi sabre i fish the marina a farbit and it is a sandbass,they all ways get the kids excited that they are catching small barra hehe
