Exmouth over easter break
Hi everyone,
Totally new to the forum. Just chasing some info regarding exmouth, so I'm hoping there might be some locals on here.
I am travelling to Exmouth from QLD by myself during the Easter break. I was looking to get some fishing in while there but it seems the majority of the decent charters are booked out over this period. A couple of quick questions...
Is there any decent land based fishing around exmouth during that time of the year?
I am also looking to do a bit of shallow spearfishing, is there any land based spots around exmouth, that I could get in and have a bit of a paddle and maybe spear fish or two?
Alternatively, if you know someone up that way that knows their stuff, has a spare spot on their boat and wants to earn a bit of coin, could you put me in contact with them.
ANy must do's while im in Exmouth? snorkeling spots?
Thanks in advance for your help.
Cheers

Plenty of shore diving mate
Plenty of shore diving mate .. just pick the top or bottom of the tides as the water can move pretty quick on the west side .. around bundegi ramp area will be ok for a swim .. as will the reefs opposite the airport .
From a bit of boat fishing drop into blue water tackle and ask chris if he needs a deckie for a day

Cheers for the info guys,
Cheers for the info guys, I'll be sure to check out all the regulations around spearing. I only spear relatively shallow pricey, no pro at it, but don't mind getting in for a paddle. Do you spear? I'd be happy to get out for either a fish or a spear and of course I'd swing you some coin.
