yep the boys and myself got back yesterday.a bit of a whirlwind trip with a few awsome fish caught and a hell of alot of beer consumed.
the go was trolling 5m divers along the back of tandibidi.with a standout lure being a 5m halco in a tiger stripe pattern.this one lure accounted for almost every fish pulled into the boat and on the last troll for the trip it basicaly gave up swimming due to the amount of chunks and nics it copped in the 3 days
the highlight of the trip was a 27kg mackie boated by rob .it was robs first fishing trip and his first fish was a 8 to 10kg mackie followed up by 3 or 4 corination trout .then the moster mackie .talk about spoilt .to the point where he got buried bye a fish so we swung the boat around to get back to the lure and what does rob say as the fish comes into the boat .quote "or its just another one of those f%$#king trout things".
we were blessed with light winds and almost no swell.we saw ben from bluewater on the water ,they spent all day trolling for billies with not a sniff so we just stayed in close and kept the lures going for trout and rankins.we did do a bit of bottom fishing.but nothing real special came came in .ill put a couple of pics up so you can see the smile on the latest pilbra pirate whos intro to fishing would have rate as one of the best

it varied a bit from 8 right up to about 25 metres.the rankins came up from 25metres to hit the lure and the trout were in the shallower water
always in it just the depth that varies
Some awesome fishing it looks likes Mitch. Very sweet indeed. We did near on 100km today looking for fish, if I even see a 1 skipjack trevally again I'll cry. Glad you boys got into them, that mack rules.
yep jay still going to the bay in 3 weeks time .for the whole two weeks of the school holidays.staying in a challet next door to the zeplins.hope to see a few of the locals again
