Exmouth trip

hey guys I'm new hear and a very keen fisherman but unfortunately I live 5-6 hours from the closet place to live me and a few mates have decided to hit the road and head up to Exmouth for a week in August and would like to know what the fishing is like around then.
i would also really appreciate if you guys could give me some tips on locations and gear I will need to take or buy when I get up there any help will be great
