FCV 295

Hey guys I'm just trying to find a little bit of info about the 295 sounders, they are hard wired but how do i get the unit out after fishing etc? Can the TM260 be used for this unit?

Yes they are hard wired but I have fitted a set of waterproof plugs so I can remove it from the boat at the end of the day.

I think you can rig that transducer up to work but it is only 1kw so your not going to fully use the 295.

You can also use a chirp transducer like the TM265 LH which can be used with better performance on your 295. Give Taylors a ring and speak to the tech boys . I have the furuno 1150 and it works a treat with chirp transducers. Have a look at the one i have for sale in the for sale section of fiswrecked and save your self a bundle.
