Furuno 628 image blury/pixelated HELP

I have a question about my new furuno 628 running a 600w transducer.
i fish mainly in the 40's and run it in HF with bottom lock and only show the bottom 15-20m on the right hand side of the screen.
this is my first furuno and I thought the image would be sharper and less pixelated, can anyone tell me if the image I am getting should be clearer or if that's as clear as it gets.

What scholl speed are you running. Ive found on my 585 if its on 2/1 and higher it will pixelate. Try it on 1/1.

I'm not sure what is making it look like that. But should not look like that. Normally show a lot better picture. Sure someone will help you sort it mate

are you running it with 64 colours, can you post a couple of screenshots of your settings ?
My spots are so secret even the fish don't know about them !

That "RezBoost" on the 628 is pretty impressive eh?
Even my old HDS gen 1 looked better than that! Obviously something wrong in the settings. Screenshots of the settings as suggested above would help.

Demo mode will show it pixilated like that. Why. Sorry I don't know the answer to that.
