FCV 295

Was wondering whether Furuno updates their hardware/specs for ölder models, eg FCV 295. This model has been around for a few years now. Are the current specs, etc the same as at the time of the initial release at least 4 years ago?
Basically wondering whether a new FCV 295 is going to be released in the near future.
FCV 587 updated to 588 relatively recently, therefore I thought maybe FCV 295 is due for an upgrade.

with the commercial gear it is typically about an 8 year cycle for new models.
doesnt mean it cant be sooner but Furuno tend to avoid the rush to market with new models and fix the bugs later model.

I think it's the old saying.. " if it ain't broken, don't fix it" if your not happy with a 295 get a 1150 if your not happy with a 1150 your never going to be happy with any thing less than a WASP
