A few pics from the last couple of trips out off Carnarvon.
Nothing special... I keep forgetting to photo the fish!!! However... seeing as I now have fillets in the freezer, I have just bought myself a brag mat, so I'll definately be doing a lot more catch and release fishing, and trying to knock a few of you blokes of this record board!!!

Classic
Some classic reds on the table.
Nice spot next to the jetty while the end is out of bounds to the walking public, you never know what you are going to pull up. Heard of a few good pinkies caught there not long back

Mulloway
While his uncle was unloading on Cygnet Lass one of my grandsons was dropping a line over the side, total in 90 minutes was 22 undersize mulloway [all released], a good sign for the future.
Took him crabbing later that day for full tally of blueys , two nets bitten off and one demolished by bloody tigers on the other side of Teggs.

Consistent ground for reds
Consistent ground for reds is in the 80m mark... A few miles past the islands mate!
you can usually start getting them in the 40-50m... But it's the 80m ground that holds most...
Although a young buck here pulled in one inside in 23m!!! Cocky lil p...k!!!! Hahaha

Cheers Cardinal.... Although you, along with A LOT of other people, have thought that its a nice jack!!
Its actually a Darktail Snapper..... Very similar to a Jack, although if you looked in the mouth, the teeth arent as big as a Jack..
Have been catching a s..t load of them up here this year!! Not bad on the chew either!!
