Last minute decision to head out in the boat lastnight after my brother inlaw said he was keen for a fish... night started pretty bad after forgetting my phone and having to turn around to get it :/ half an hour latter we arive at the boatramp realising I needed fuses for the nav lights.... well we first left my place at 8.30 and eventually had the boat in the water by 10pm...
we headed out about 6km from port kennedy to a spot where we landed a nice shark the week before.... we anchered and burleyed pretty hard, brother inlaw ended up landing a decent skippy and a sized dhu fish.... the rest of the night was prettty good bagging out on some decent gar fish....
last two photos are from our first family holiday a few weeks ago In kalbarri... brother pretty chuffed after landing his first mack...

great work on the gardies - have never targetted them but love the things deep fried whole
When asked by a non-fisherman 'how many fishing rods do you really need?' the correct answer is either:
n+1 (where n is the number of fishing rods you currently own); or
n-1 (where n is the number of fishing rods which would cause your significant other to dump you.
