Hi there fishwrecked members. I must start by saying what a great site! So much info and experience and spread over such a wide array of fishing styles/preferences. Good to see so much variation. I have browsed this site quite a bit and found every thing from offshore to sweetwater, awesome!

A little bit about myself- Have a structural steel erection business here in Perth. I try to get out in the tub at least every fortnight (wind permiting). I have shifted my fishing focus of late more towards fishing for a feed rather than the sports aspect ( must have some thing to do with getting old). I have three pups that I am trying to teach to fish in the same manner as I was taught i.e. learn all the land based skills and basics and learn to think like a fish to catch a fish before jumping on pa's boat and heading straight out to a sure thing at one of my lumps! Having said that, it is probably me that needs to wind back and re-learn to catch a flathead or two in the Swan.

Anyway, I am looking forward to learning from this site and hope I can provide some valid information to some of your members.
