First Tailor for the Season 4 Us
Submitted by tommytomato on Wed, 2010-01-27 00:06
Went fishing tonight, with our crab burley and a block of mulies and rig up and ready for action, straight on Sunset the tailor hit hard
biggest I have ever caught at the local beach in Rockingham
biggest which is next to phone was 50 plus cm's, between 3 of us we caught 9 Tailor, two where used as live bait, 7 herring and 5 Yellow and one garfish
live bait rod went off and my daughter Jasmine shit her self, was a good laugh to see her do the spider monkey dance, quick dad the rods going off, turn out to be Mrs dolphin taking the live Tailor.
thats about it, was a good warm night down there.

Great, Karl!
Nice fish, been a long time since I've seen one that big from a Rockingham beach! Been a very good tailor season so far by the sound of it and need to get back down to the Dawesville Cut one of these arvos to get a few on lures!

Good one Tommy
The tailor definately seem to be more consistent south of the river at the moment.

The first one hooked was by my daughter Jasmine, she got it so close to the shore U could see it and it was big and it spat the hooks and she was spewing, had the major sad's after that, then come along the one I caught and I got a mouth full from her, ( Thats not fair that my fish slap slap )
was a good night indeed, looking forward to more in the near future..

Nice work
Good stuff, Tommy, some nice choppers there! The one nearest the phone is a right big bastard. :)
The cut has been pretty reliable lately for choppers.

Good catch!
I agree with Colin. The tailor seem to be more consistent down south. That's not saying there is none up this way
Nice banner for your blog there BTW Tommy.
