First time crayfisho - got 4 whites!!!!

Went out of Mindarie yesterday for first attempt crayfishing and dropped first pot in 16m NW of staggie reef then dropped the next one straight out out deeper in 22m. Went out this morning pulled first pot from 16m and it had 4 whites in it was bloody wrapped!!!!! pulled the deeper pot but it was empty - didnt matter was happy with my 4 whites ive got the crayfishing bug now so looking forward to doing it again next weekend cheers Dave

Well done mate if you only dropped your pots in yesterday and got Crays today awesome effort must be plastic pots then ?

Hey Broome lad they are jarrah frame/ pine slat pots - i used blue mackeral for bait have been told hoki and orange roughy heads are good too so will give them a go when i get a chance to buy some. cheers mate

Nice going, tip, if one pot catches and one not then move the one that's not catching to the same area. Sound around and stick to where your catching. When the numbers drop move the pots deeper.
More drum lines, kill the bloody sharks!
