First YTK

Finally bit the bullet and headed out today. The wind died for a couple of hours and it wasn't too bad. Went to the west side of side of 5 fathom to try and snag a dhuie or snapper. No luck on that front but did managed to catch my first evet YTK. Weighed in at 12kg and put up a hell of a fight. Good luck to those of you heading out over the next couple of days. Have fun.
