FISH ID

Hey Guys,
Just wondering what type of eel this is
Was Caught under the pylons of a jetty in a canal in Port Bouvard
Fair bit of weight there!

correct me if i'm wrong, pretty sure that it is a GREEN MORAY.

they tend to be brown in WA, like the one in your photo.

found in Australias East, South and western coasts

id have to agree the photo was sent from relatives down south whos neighbours killed it.
Ended up being used for cray bait i think.
