False Fusilier
As usual, it is hard to be sure without the fish in hand, but I think this might be a False Fusilier Paracaesio xanthurus. As the name 'False' suggests, this is not actually a fusilier - it belongs to the lutjanid family - the tropical snappers. It is apparently good eating too. Interesting record from the Abrolhos.
