Was gonna say stargazer...
...but their eyes face upwards, so jawfish is as good a guess as any!
Brilliant colouration on it...imagine fish skin cowboy boots in that pattern? You'd be STYLIN'!

barra fishing!! Fish ID books are usually spot on. So I guess its a really good guess!!!

Leopard Jawfish, or
Leopard Jawfish aka Monkeyfish. That lure must have swam right over its hole.
