Even though the tail is red :-) small species, rarely above 300mm. Very common up north. Not a black snapper, aka blue-lined emperor, grassy emperor, etc, IMO.
There's a bit of a windup going on mate, on search function on left you'll find fish Id and you'll find your answer rather easily. However above is spot on.
