Fish ID? And Eating Quality?

I caught this at Mylup beach, Its a Cod of some sort? A Leopard Wirrah Cod was my guess but not to sure? Also was wondering on how good they are to eat?

Yeah, looks like a wirrah. Some have eaten it and said its ok, others say its shit. Annoying pains in the arse when your after other stuff. I toss them back.

hey mate, have caught one similar to that. it has sort of tough flesh but still tasted alright, an before people hang shit, no i didnt over cook it.
