Brown Sweetlip
It's a juvenile Brown Sweetlip (also called Blubberlip) - Plectorhinchus gibbosus. They look like that until about 200mm then start to go browner or greyer.
Great photo - makes it easy to ID

Easier
You could make it a bit easier if you give your location, not too many readers know where the spoil bank is even though its common knowledge in Hedland.

that fish is a result of interspecies breeding between a herring and a pink snapper - it's as clear a case as I have ever seen.
case closed.

middle is probably what used
middle is probably what used to be called Blue-spotted Emperor (but hard to completely sure). The red on the edge of the gill suggests it might be a red-spot emperor, but I don't remember them getting the banded pattern (is that red part of its colour, or blood stains?).
bottom one is Stripey Seaperch
