Good Photo Adam theres something about the landscape up North that makes it more inviting, the spot you took the photo must be marked out on the ground as i took the identical photos in 1979 with a film camera

Funny you say that, we were there one morning and of course with our backs turned we heard an almighty splash about 20m out but turned around in time to see a long silver shape disappear beneath the surface. We reckoned the same either a Sail or Marlin

Awsome ledge was fishing
Awsome ledge was fishing there just last week for a week straight , have also seen heaps of marlin abd sailies jumping just out from there , theres also a giant cod that lives under there that tries to steal your fish its massive not very fun when you hook it haha .

Was fishing high rock one day and my mate pulled up a ripper Pinkie. It was resting on the ledge waiting for the flying gaff only to see the resident cod there come up and swallow it whole.

hey adam, was the trail leeding down cliff by car still land slided..? was there a few months ago and the side off the cliff had land slided taking about 20m of track with it...

it was hard enough for us to get back up camp rock with our gear when i went, so we didnt try get down there. Pitty it looked awsome!

any tips for some first timers to the area guys ? i will be up those parts mid september, we are towing a 4.5m ally an taking landbased gear aswell cant wait !
