Aliens knob?

Yeah body wise at first glance it looks cobbler ish , but no dorsal or even a wound were it should be , and

the mouth dont look right , too narrow , a catfishs mouth is wider .

It is a wierd one , not saying its not a cob , as some times when things decompose after been attacked by something . it can look strange.

I don't think it's a eel

The length to girth ratio doesn't look right and the mouth looks more beak like to me.  Having said that I have no idea what it is.  May be one for Glenn Moore if no one can provide a positive ID.

Sorry guys,

I've been out of the office for a couple of days.  I've run this by my colleagues and the consensus is a species of moray eel - Gymnothorax.

I should have added a bit of explanation.  The large dot that looks like an eye is almost certainly the gill opening.  The eye is the small dot over the middle of the upper jaw.
