Towing

Hi I have a 4.88 M Quintrex runabout, at present I am towing it with a Ford Territory AWD, my wife wants us to downsize and buy a Nissan x-trail, with a 4 cylinder 2.2 petrol engine, anyone here tow a similar rig with an X-trail ? (it will be an 2017 model).

How are you going to be able to tow a bigger and better boat with a smaller car ?. Tell her you want something you can tow 3.5 tons with !
My wife understands why I clean my rods n reels in the shower....

Unless you load it up I cant imagine youd have any problems towing a tinny quinnie with the xtrail.

We have had an o8 2.2 petrol
We have had an o8 2.2 petrol xey since new and has towed are 5.2 fiberglass crestcutter to walpole ,sharkbay and exmouth all most every year with out any issuses. It can sit on 100 kph all day but 90 is better on fuel but like the territory its a soft roader and soft beach launching not so good . Keep the territory and by more toys
