Friend caught this off a reef up at two rocks....no idea what it is so obviously went back.
Is it some sort of cod ????

i call them big mouth cod.
when good size ,taste good. dont know bout the real name for em..
plenty of them around club capricorn rocks..

Loaded with bones and spines and not worth it in my book.
