Fisheries fines

Another couple of human skidmarks doing their level best to justify the govts greenie agenda against recreational fishing.  This stuff really sh**s me to tears.

Eight unclipped crays hidden

Eight unclipped crays hidden and eight clipped in the esky. Makes you wonder which eatery is buying blackmarket crays on the cheap and charging customers a pretty penny...

 What pisses me off

Tue, 2023-08-01 21:36

 What pisses me off is....

Abalone and crays, the cash crop for the state....

Fisheries spend the most time protecting what pays their wages....

I don't really give a toss if old mate takes extra crays when the TAC for the pro sector is 6600T or 6,600,000kg or at 3-4 per kg thats around 20,000,000 crays - There is no threat to the cray sector.....

So yes while Mr Wayne Kinnard is being a naughty chap and yes it is against the law, in the big scheme of things in my eyes its less signifigant than other misdemeanours.......

Yeah yeah I know, he shouldn't be doing it and throw the book at him etc etc

How about the state starts spending some cash and buying a few net lisences with its Iron Ore royalties, reducing wetlining pressure, slugging the commercial sector a fee for beach clean ups....

Argh I could go on and on and on and on - I think I might go out and catch 23 herring tomorrow, shove 3 down me Reg Grundies

Its allways been that way

Its allways been that way fisheries put all the effort into the big few fisheries Abbs, crays, marron and demersal. But thngs like the crabs in Mandurah a rampant problem with people over fishing and taking under size and little done.

And the chinise are still not buying them but did the price go down in OZ for crays not a chance in hell. I couldn't give a toss. You should still do the right thing and if you do the crime do the time and don't bitch. I watched three wankers pull ten pots one day behind the five, but what do you do, ring fisheries, to late the horse has bolted and is hard to prove. Royalties are crap, the state get 7% from mining royalties and and are happy to get it but the state is being ripped off and the politicions haven't got the nuts to do anything about it. The resources belong to the people not the goverment  we should be geting 20% think what we could do with that in the way of research, hospital and homeless as well as pensions for whinging old pricks like me.
