Fishing after a Cyclone or strong winds

Gday,
What's everyone's thoughts on beach fishing after really strong winds?
Last night the wind got up to around 70kmh and tonight looks like around 10kmh.........
Some people say the fishing is better after a big blow ..........what do you reckon?
Im going for a fish anyway........just curious to what you think and why?

Cheers

Where are you thinking? We haven't had a big blow in Perth from the cyclone, turned out a fizzer.

if I was in exmouth after the cyclone for gamex this weekend I would be heading north towards black and bowers reef of onslow and if chasing bill fish would check the 40m channel of anchor island also out from onslow , after the blow the fish will be on the chew up there

Should be decent fishing, just fish the slightly clearer water or on the edges of murky water. Maybe try live baits, should make them easier to find in low-vis conditions
