i dont no ey been ther
I dont no ey, been there caught more plastic bags than anything, very fished out over there. I know some locals and they catch lots of smaller fish they might.... might get the odd bigger fish trawling... but lots a tuna, on the charter boats u got take it in turns when trawling, we only got 1 fish each.

Bali
Think Jay did some fishing in Bali last time he went, but didn't have much success.
Have to agree with Fishyink thou. I spent a day trolling the offshore atolls of Kota Kinabalu and all we got was plastic bags and spent a fair bit of the day watching heaps of trawlers ripping up the bottom and leaving sand blooms for miles.

Havent fished bali but did
Havent fished bali but did some over at phucket and same same but different over there. Took in turns on a charter catching tunna and some different looking trevally! Cant remember there name but look a bit like the diamond one. Get some awsome sailies and marlin around the islands to but no hookups for us! Pretty boring though, we were using about 200lb line for trolling on penn inters a bit like scull draging the fish in so it hardley felt like a fight. Cant be to different in bali though not to far away.
Keep it tight, reeeeeeel tight!

you need to know the right
you need to know the right charters, put in some (but not get ripped off) $$, and do the miles. same situation as in perth, not all are equal, with some atrocious, and some well... bring a big memory card for the camera. of course, gotta be lucky too. some people are happy dropping 100lb mono on alveys in 100m of water for maybe 1 or 2 pinkies for the day, while others wouldn't be happy until they break the 50kg samsonfish mark, or rack up 15 in a day.
