Bluewater Classic

Who's entering the comp?

I will be.

Great prizes as usual each worth around $1500. Came close a few years back and had the leading whiting for a while but got pipped near the end.

Scheduled for Saturday 17th Feb. Launch from Ocean Reef.

It would be good to get a few of the guys to enter and then have a beer or three at the weigh-in at the MACC club.

Defrost???

Hahaha, you guys... I caught a 9kg pink snapper the week before the comp, would have won it hands down.

[img_assist|fid=16528|thumb=1|alt=Pinky from the fog|caption=.]

All I could catch was the whiting a small blackas and a 5 or 6kg dhuie.

[img_assist|fid=17210|thumb=1|alt=Bluewater Classic Dhuie 2005|caption=.]

If it was a week earlier I would have romped it in.

It would be good to catch up after the event I suppose if we wear the fishwrecked shirts that might be the only way we would recognise eachother.

Cheers

Entry Forms

Sun, 2007-01-28 17:12

Think they have entry forms at most tackle stores. Will double check that and get back to you, but from memory when I used to go to Ranger camping they had them on the front counter.

Will get an entry form and take a look. Its from Hillaries and Ocean Reef, so it won't be that far to Mt Dhu, never know what we might find on the way there either. ;)

Mt Dhu is an oasis that we came accross with a nice under water hotel for all those tired Dhufish that just need a break from the hussle and bussle of every day life. There treated to all the mod cons and luxury on a poor fishes wage. Once there nice and relaxed we casually drop down a line and WHHAAMMMMO there as good as on the plate.

Who's signed up for the classic, I went to register at Bluewater Scarbrough today but they didn't have any entry forms. Apparently theres a comp this weekend called the vodafone classic, but thought I'd ask if anyone knew?

Not heard of the Vodaphone classic.
