Made it out to the 40m mark southwest of rottnest last thursday, ending up being a good day, got to woodmans ramp just on daybreak and headed out between carnac and garden island, Kept 1 dhuie which was 65cm, 1 queenie at 55cm, 1 50cm KG  and a couple of breaksea cod. the day just got better the later it went after a couple of small showers in the morning it fines up and the wind dropped until we had very little drift at all. Released three dhuies that were just size using release weight.
