Fishing Location Suggestions? - Tailor etc

Hey Fellas,

I live in the St James area, and am wanting to head out somewhere this weekend for a fish, I want to stock up my freezer!

I'm looking to catch a few big tailor if I can, does anyone have any suggestions? (Up to 2 hours drive from where I am)

I no longer have my 4x4 and am cruising in a clubsport now, so it has to be accessable by foot! :)

Cheers guys.

Chrono90,

Hey mate, have a quick look at Trigg and Club Capricorn. Some good Spring Tailor can be caught at both of those spots but mind you can get alittle weedy though you persist the fish will be there. All accessable by foot too.

Mate, most of the Tailor I've seen and caught is on the B side. Same as what Championruby said. Alot safer to fish and still shows up the fish, but if you can get onto the reef whilst wearing reef boots and take alot of precaution you can fish right on the point and get the bigger Tailor and thumper Tarwhine.
