just wanting to get a insite as recently have caught some big fish which i did not have scales over 10kg to use on capture.
is there a certain system which you have the length and it roughly etimates a Weight of the fish as i understand every fish is different
im basing it on bronze whalers sharks and yellowtail kingfish
cheers all

Great site
www.fishweights.co.za it's a south African site so not all the same species as here , but most of them and a few under another name . With the shark species the sex of the species makes a massive difference to the weight and u need to measure to the precudal ( the notch before the tail starts)
